After sell-out previews last year, Luke Ofield’s gripping play, The Writers’ Bloc, returns to The Rialto Theatre for The Brighton Fringe

'Soviet Russia, 1937. In an effort to deflect public attention away from the deadly purges of his enemies, Joseph Stalin commissions a great book to be written. Five great writers are placed in a room with an infinite supply of vodka, cigarettes and fear. For each writer, it is their last chance, and every word is loaded. The Writers’ Bloc packs live music, ballet, physical theatre and tense drama into a packed hour of theatre.'

Unmasked Theatre are looking for 8 actors to rehearse from March onwards. Rehearsals will be in Brighton, the work will be based on expenses/ profit share, but with a guarantee of £100 after Fringe Receipts + more depending on funding.

Singing and dancing ability is also preferable. Must be comfortable with strong language and violence.
